March 24th, 2010I have had some greta long runs- 9 mile range.
I also have increased my swimming. I am trying for a half mile three times a week.
Swimming
March 15th, 2010I finally entered the pool. I did two swims this weekend and it felt great.
Thw swimming really streched me out and can help my running!!
I alos did an easy 6 miler this weeknd.

Kauai Runs
March 9th, 2010Had some great runs in Kauai! Beautiful place to train.
Had a great 7 miler where I did the last mile @ 700 pace!!!
Ran today in Santa Clara- 6 miler @ 753 pace

February 17th, 2010I had some really nice runs in warm sunny weather!!
They were 6 milers in sub 750 pace.

Long Run
February 11th, 2010On Sunday we did a 12 miler @840 pace. It was my last run of the week and my legs felt heavy!!!
Today I ran 6 @ 750 pace and felt ok after being on a long plane ride yesterday!!!
Times Are Dropping
February 5th, 2010I had 2 or 3 6 mile runs this week where my average per mile has been 744 or lower.
The weight training has really helped my strenght which in turn has brought down my times!!!!
Faster and Faster
February 1st, 2010The year of running is off to a great start.
I have been gaining spped and strenght.
I did a 9 mile run @ 814 pace. The last 3 miles were 755/732 and 700.
Today I did a 6 miler @ 746 pace and felt good.
It is going to back to doing some racing soon.

Fastest in a year and I felt strong!!!!
